The action comedy stars Hollywood superstar Harrison Ford ('The Fugitive') and teen heartthrob Josh Hartnett ('Pearl Harbor') and marks the second cop-themed release from writer/director Ron Shelton ('Bull Durham'), who recently directed Kurt Russell in the police thriller 'Dark Blue.' Shelton co-wrote the screenplay for 'Homicide' with Robert Souza, a former LAPD-officer-turned-Hollywood scribe. The film also stars Lou Diamond Phillips ('La Bamba') as an undercover officer who poses as a female prostitute. The talented actor reportedly won the role partly because he showed up to the audition in full drag.
